Finca de las Pasas is a fully modernised
and refurbished detached single-storey house, with authentic
cot
and high chair
The house is air-conditioned, doubling as a heating system during the 'winter' weeks. Newly installed broadband internet connection. Whether you wish to work on holiday, stay in touch with friends and family by email, listen to BBC Radio 4 or Radio 1, check out what's happening in Malaga City or follow the news back home, an internet connection can make a big difference. Not many rural Spanish holiday homes have an internet connection - and even fewer have broadband. Just bring along your own laptop computer. The property has its own land below the swimming pool, but this shelves steeply down into the valley, so serves only to provide seclusion and privacy. Families with toddlers and those with mobility problems should be advised that the pool is situated on a separate terrace below the house, accessed via a flight of steps, and there is a fairly steep drop below the pool balustrade. Pool depth is 1.2m at the shallow end and 1.8m at the deep end - which is excellent for swimmers but very young non-swimmers might find this a little too deep. However we've already hosted several families with young children and they have adored playing in the pool with armbands, lilos, blow-up creatures and the like! Fresh bed linen, towels and tea towels are provided for all new guests. A cleaning service is not normally provided during your stay, but of course the property will be thoroughly cleaned and prepared prior to your arrival. Owing to its rural / village location, we recommend that all our visitors hire a car. However the village is served by a public bus, with a thrice daily service to Velez-Malaga, and we have the contact number for an Englishman who lives in the village who offers his services as a very good value taxi driver and will meet and greet from the airport.
