From Malaga Airport follow the E-15 / N-340 east, in the direction of Motril.  Junction 265 is clearly signposted for Iznate.   Finca de las Pasas is located down a rural road just before the main entry to the village, approximately 6km after leaving the motorway.  In total, the journey from Malaga Airport should take less than 35 minutes. 

As can be seen from the map, the village is close to the sea, close to the beautiful Lake Viñuela, close to the facilities of Velez Malaga, Torre del Mar and Rincon de la Victoria and just 20 minutes away from the tourist centres of Nerja and Frigiliana.

The property is well situated for a variety of leisure activities.  There is a lovely new and rarely used municipal tennis court just a 3 minute walk from the finca (as well as a football pitch, a municipal pool and paddling pool and a strange walled tennis court without tramlines).  There is golf at both Rincon de la Victoria and Velez Malaga, a fabulous water park at Torre del Mar open June - September, social-cycles on the prom at Torre, walking and cycling in the hills, water-sports including paragliding on the beaches at Torre and Rincon in the high season, horse riding and many more activities in the area.  Go-karting, ten-pin bowling, museums, Moorish forts, underground caves, dolphin-spotting-Mediterranean cruises and opportunities to visit many typical white-washed villages can all be enjoyed within a 15 minute drive of the property.  A comprehensive information pack is kept in the house for the use of guests enabling you to gain maximum enjoyment from your stay.

For Granada and skiing in the Sierra Nevada, either drive cross country through Alhama de Granada or follow the motorway around via Malaga and Antequera for a speedier if longer route.  It is a one and half hour drive to Granada but another half hour to wind up to the ski resorts.
